Munich continues to develop its position as a leading European high-technology cluster, now adding the LabCampus. The LabCampus platform is bringing together major high technology companies and initiatives, knowledge partners, innovators and investors in a pulsating international environment at Munich Airport, a top European travel nexus.

LabCampus is the cross-industry innovation hub, spread over 500,000 sqm (124 acres) and located between the runways at the northwest corner of Munich Airport. Global players, research institutes and start-ups will be co-creating innovations in this urban “smart city.” In an inspiring atmosphere, the LabCampus concept will promote an active innovation network, one that links key technology drivers in the aircraft and space travel, digitalization, energy, and mobility sectors, to name a few.

This evening we will learn about Dr. Marc Wagener and his team’s vision for the LabCampus. Dr. Wagener has headed LabCampus GmbH since April 1, 2018. He draws on his interdisciplinary and broad-based professional experience. For example, he developed Novel Business at Siemens and was inter alia responsible for Marketing, Strategy and Communication at Carl Zeiss Industrial Metrology. He started his career management consultancy. Marc holds a degree in electrical and communications engineering and a doctorate in economics.
