We want to very warmly welcome our new Admission Consultant, Pratik Tabhane, to our Admissions Team! Pratik will be supporting our international students through the application process and as they enroll and begin their studies at New European College. Get to know Pratik better with these six interesting facts about him:
Where are you from exactly?
I come from the center point city of the subcontinent of India, Nagpur. It is very famous for oranges.
Why did you choose to study at NEC and in Munich?
When I first heard about NEC, I was very thrilled to know about their practical learning approach. But here comes the best part: Being a technical person, I have always wanted to know how business is done through best practices of implementation. NEC has just just the right mixture, having partnered with IUBH and WUAS, which happen to be some of Germany’s and the Netherland´s best private universities of applied sciences.
Why are you studying business?
Studying business helped me develop an interesting understanding of how business organizations function and operate. This also gave me an idea on how to develop strategies, use tools in a variety of situations – from simple to highly complex such as with Change Management.
Favorite spot in Munich?
I love walking along the river Isar near Hellabrunn Zoo (Thalkirchen)
Traditional Indian home-made flattened rice with onions cooked in Indian spices and chickpeas with boiled tomatoes as a topping. The flat rice is called “Kanda Poha”, but in Nagpur we make another version of it and call it “Tarri Poha” because of its uniqueness!
Favorite class at NEC so far:
So far, my favorite lecture at NEC has been ‘Managing in a Global Economy’ with Vittorio Tabaligue.
